Subway Surfers and similar runners you can play in a browser
Updated October 22, 2026 · 3 min read
Search for Subway Surfers in a browser and you will find many sites with the name in their address, but only one web version is official. This page lists that one and the other endless runners whose makers, or a partner they work with, publish them on the web, each opened on October 22, 2026. All of them are free and none needs a download; the sites that host them pay for that with ads.
The official Subway Surfers web version
SYBO brings Subway Surfers to the web through Poki. The game's page there says it is by SYBO and free exclusively at Poki, SYBO is quoted on Poki's developer site crediting the partnership with taking the game to the web, and Pocket Gamer.biz reported in November 2025 that it had passed 1.7 billion plays on Poki. The World Tour city can differ from the app's: on October 22 the web build was in Bali while the phone app had moved on to Transylvania.

The arrow keys move you between tracks, jump and roll, and the spacebar starts a hoverboard. Use this page rather than any "unblocked" copy: it is the version SYBO stands behind.
Other official swipe runners on Poki
These are phone runners whose makers have put them on Poki. Each page names the original studio, and all four play with the keyboard or mouse.
The closest lane match on the web. Outfit7's game arrived on Poki in May 2026, and the arrow keys switch lanes, jump and slide just as they do in Subway Surfers.
Imangi's sequel has been on Poki since October 2020. The arrow keys jump, slide and turn you at each corner of the winding path.
Halfbrick's first game on Poki, from June 2022, in a web build made by the studio Storms. Hold the mouse button or the spacebar to fly.
Hipster Whale's hopper came to Poki in December 2024, and its page says you need no download or account to play.
Browser runners from their makers' own hosts
These were made for the web, or have a free web version on their maker's own site. Each has plenty of copies elsewhere, so the links here go only to the official pages.
Joseph Cloutier's tunnel runner is credited to him on both Coolmath Games and Poki. Infinite Mode is the part closest to an endless Subway Surfers run.
The free HTML5 version runs on the official site, owned by Finji, and we saw no ads on the page. One key does everything.
- Slope
A ball rolls down an endless neon slope in space and you steer with the arrow keys or A and D, avoiding red blocks and the edge. Y8 added it in September 2014 and credits Y8 Studio; fan sites name a different author, so we link only Y8's page.
Our three, built for the browser
Gamefinity's games run on our own site in any modern browser, phone or computer alike, with nothing to download and no sign-up. They are smaller than the big phone runners, with no characters to collect.
- Snow RushOurs
The closest of ours: three lanes down an endless mountain. On a keyboard the arrow keys or WASD carve and duck, Space jumps (hold it for more height) and P pauses; on a phone you swipe.
- Tilt GlideOurs
On a computer you fly with the arrow keys or WASD and boost with Space or Shift. On a phone you tilt to steer, or choose the no-tilt option and drag a thumb instead.
- Drift CircuitOurs
Everything is one input: tap the screen, click, or press Space or an arrow key to swing into the next bend. Nothing needs holding, so it is easy on a laptop trackpad.
Runners with no official browser version
We looked for official web versions of the other runners people compare with Subway Surfers and found none for Subway Surfers City, Sonic Dash Run, Rail Rush, Agent Dash, Zombie Tsunami, Into the Dead, CookieRun: OvenBreak, Smash Hit or Super Mario Run. Alto's Adventure and Alto's Odyssey reach computers only through Steam, as The Alto Collection for $9.99, and Geometry Dash is $4.99 there. Miniclip, which publishes Rail Rush, closed its own web game portal in 2022. If a site offers one of these in a browser, we could not confirm that its maker is behind it.
Questions people ask
Is Subway Surfers on Poki the real game?
Yes. Poki's page names SYBO as the maker and says the game is free exclusively at Poki, and SYBO itself talks about the partnership on Poki's developer site. It plays with the keyboard: arrows to move, jump and roll, spacebar for the hoverboard.
Can I play Subway Surfers City in a browser?
Not officially. SYBO's sequel is an iOS and Android app, and we found no web version of it from SYBO or Poki on October 22, 2026. The original Subway Surfers is the one on Poki.
Are "Subway Surfers unblocked" sites official?
We could not trace them to SYBO. They are unofficial copies on their own domains, carrying their own ads, so we link to none of them. The official web version is the one on Poki.
